CWU's fourth tour took me through the narrow valleys and low mountains of six different states to explore the soot, spirits, and twang of America's Appalachia and Bluegrass Country. I also learned about the more complex aspects of the history, economy, culture, and values of the locals as I spoke with folks from all sides of the hollows and hills.
